KIMBERLY JOI MCDONALD WINS THE IDS FELLOW AWARD

In August of last year, we awarded Kimberly Joi McDonald with IDS Fellow Award, the highest award offered in our organization. This award is given to individuals who have shown unwavering support and devotion to IDS and its mission.

The award was presented at our Designer of the Year Awards Gala, and as you can see below, it was a complete surprise. 

Kimberly Joi began her service as the founding President of the IDS Las Vegas Chapter. She then was quickly appointed to the National Board of Directors and eventually became the National President. 

During her tenure, Kimberly Joi accomplished many great things including the launch of our scholarship program as well as our Diversity and Inclusion Committee. She also championed education, bringing back our overseas educational tours and online members portal with resources ranging from business to health and wellbeing. Most importantly, Kimberly Joi helped to expand upon the culture and mission of IDS as a welcoming and diverse organization.
